New Moon29, 0, 1
You have lots of potential and you’re keen to leave your mark. The waxing moon begins in darkness and you want to project your light onto the world. You’re a forward thinker, full of life, ideas and concepts, however you often allow instinct to override logic.
This is the start of a new karmic cycle so be ready to try something new, free yourself of fears, worries and self-judgement.
Waxing Crescent2, 3, 4, 5
You feel the need for security, don't achieve this by clinging to the past and avoiding learning independence. You need to forge an identity and let go of habitual behaviors, subconscious programming and outdated beliefs.
Have the courage to assert yourself, facing and overcoming imbalance brings likely success.
First Quarter6, 7, 8
The first quarter moon is an adjustment period, often known as a “Crisis in Action”. You find it easy to change, adjust and make quick decisions. Always determined to replace old structures with new and better ones. You're are a builder and action taker.
Time to rise to the challenge and take a leadership role. Be ambitious, self motivated and independent.
Waxing Gibbous9, 10, 11, 12, 13
You love to learn. You are a truth-seeker, always questioning, studying and delving into the core of the matter without being impulsive. This can sometimes upset the status quo. You seek perfection, you yearn to know as much as you can and become the best at whatever you do.
You will find yourself in thinking mode carefully analysing an issue, this is the time when you will be at your most productive and creative.
Full Moon14, 15, 16
Your emotions are larger than life! You seek balance and good relationships. You can be highly impulsive and instinctual. Being an idealist, you seek religious or spiritual foundations. Your feelings are always on display, learn to find that inner balance and self-belief.
A good time to find meaning, satisfaction or a significant other, be it personal or professional. This can be the catalyst for great periods of growth and success.
Waning Gibbous17, 18, 19, 20
The moon is ready to complete the cycle, there is a need to disseminate lessons from the previous phase. You are a natural communicator and like to share your wisdom, knowledge and experience with others. You like to take your own route and feel a sense of urgency to fulfill your life’s purpose.
Assert yourself by bucking convention and traditions. It is a good time to pass on experience, just make sure you teach and not preach.
Last Quarter21, 22, 23
This phase is known as “crisis in consciousness”, the moon is not reflecting much light so it is up to you to rely on your inner light to guide you. People born during the last quarter have the gift of deep understanding and intuition but can sometimes feel isolated or misunderstood.
You might be finding it hard to relate to someone or struggling with ill-informed opinions, don't waste too much time, have faith in yourself.
Waning Crescent24, 25, 26, 27, 28
As the moon retreats into almost total darkness there is an urgency to complete unfinished business. At this time you might find it difficult to relate to others and probably just enjoy the company of a select group of people, being insightful and sensitive however, you have much wisdom you wish to share.
You might find yourself wanting to be alone to contemplate, you will find yourself looking beyond the demands of the immediate future.
